I generally like to open/sample several different wines at a time and the Perservino is perfect because there is no need to finish them all at once.

I have successfully stored some reds for 10 days without any noticeable drop in taste and quality.

This has been a perfect product for us. One of us drinks white wine; the other drinks red. Now we can open a bottle and drink a glass at a time. And the entire system is easy to use and convenient to store. So glad we found this. We have given this as gifts and would definitely recommend to others.

We enjoy drinking fine wine but only one glass at a time. Thanks to the Preservino it is as good after 10 days as the first glass we poured, with the added bonus of keeping our olive and walnut oils fresh. We'd give it definite 10 rating.

This is a great way to keep your wine from spoiling if you only want to have a glass with dinner and not the whole bottle. It's simple to use and better than the more expensive wine preservation systems.

This product is so easy to use, every wine drinker should own one...It really does preserve the wine and ultimately saves you money. No more dumping wine down the drain because you couldn't drink the whole bottle in one setting.
I would recommend this anyone and it makes a really great gift..
Christmas is around the corner...buy a couple for that special friend or maybe for that hostess gift that you always need at the last minute..

Not useful
By RobVerified Reviewer from Greenville, SC on 4/18/2008
Pros:
Attractive Design
Cons:
Awkward To Use
Best Uses:
Home Bar
Describe Yourself:
Practical
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

It is impossible to determine how much gas to inject in a bottle.
Cannisters hold little gas making cost per bottle extreme.

Nice product
By Ph. D Chemist from Houston, TX on 2/13/2008

Easy to Use
Best Uses:
Home Bar
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:

Don't understand the confusion with this product. It is not really that complicated. Now, once you load the argon cartridge, do not unscrew the housing until it is empty, or you will lose all of the argon.

However, I have used this for more than one year (Christmas 2006). You get about four bottles per cartridge, and it is amazing at ceasing the oxidation process.

Very disappointing

Pros:
Has potential
Cons:
Difficult assembly, Two units not working
Describe Yourself:

Cartridges seem not to last and lacks clear explicit instructions on assembly and use. Company was responsive to initial questions bu am not convinced this is worth the money

Does not live up to promise
By JeffreyVerified Purchaser from NYC on 11/8/2007
Cons:
Did not fit right, Did not Work, Flimsy, Not precise, Unclear if used correctly
Describe Yourself:
High-End Shopper
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This seemed too good to be true, and it did not live up to the hype. It is inconsistent at best to determine how much to use or to determine if it is well sealed.
