No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Don't believe they hype! I ordered a set of 4 of these because my wife had broken several of our crystal stemware simply washing them by hand. I simply bumped one of these with an empty ice trey the day after we received them when cleaning the kitchen and it shattered. There are higher quality glasses available for the same price. These glasses are no stronger than any other crystal I have owned.

I turned around and knocked one (hard) off a nightstand. From a height of 30 inches and a distance of 5 feet, I watched in slow motion expecting to hear a dreaded shatter. Instead, I witnessed no less than 4 end-over-end bounces before coming to rest - INTACT! Lets just say another name brand costing about twice as much would have never survived. An unexpected marriage of decadence and strong.

I love the weight, design however for a glass that wasnt suppose to break easily, I had one broken upon arrival and one later break just by tapping it lightly to another glass. I feel they are more fragile than a normal glass yet they are advertised as break-resistant glassware! 2 out of 12 is not a good report! Thats to bad because i really like them and wanted to buy more!

I'm a walking disaster when it comes to breaking things. So far I've ordered 12 of these glasses and have broken three. They are somewhat delicate, but not as delicate as Riedel glasses, of which I have broken a multitude. These glasses are definitely a good value and do as good a job as Riedel glasses in enhancing the taste of the wine.

We have a full set of the Fusion glasses and we really enjoy them. They feel light and airy without feeling too thin and fragile. Stylish and functional. Unfortunately, they are not as resilient as advertised. We lightly bumped one against the faucet while rinsing it out and it cracked.

These are very good anytime glasses. We use them in the hot tub or boat or anywhere because they are durable yet reasonably elegant and complimentary to the wines. However, don't be fooled, while we have yet to break a bowl of the glass, the stem breaks fairly easily. The good news is that the stem does not shatter, it just breaks so it is safe in that regard.

I ordered these through the website without seeing them in "real life". I gave them as a gift, so I don't know much about ease of cleaning, etc. I have used them at events since giving them, and they are striking on the table. Love the look and feel of the glasses. Used them during the holidays and they were just what I needed for my favorite red wine. I was disappointed in the dimple on the side of one of the glasses. These may be inexpensive wine glasses but should be checked before shipping for flaws.

I drink red wine almost every evening and often with neighbors and friends. These glasses are beautiful and I use them almost daily. They are cleaned in a dishwasher and come out sparkling every time. A damp paper towel removes any water spots easily and quickly. The primary reason I bought them was for their durability. I drink wine with every meal and am naturally clumsy, so I've burned through a number of Riedel glasses. I did a head-to-head comparison against a Riedel glass, and the Fusion glass concentrated the flavor as well if not better than the Riedel glass. Time will tell about the sturdiness of the glasses, but presently I am well satisfied.
