No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Sharp burrs on rivet had to be filed off otherwise would cut hand. Very sharp metallic splinter at knife pivot end would cause nasty hand punctured if I did not file it off. For a corkscrew this expensive the finish was extremely poor.
