No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I bought This product because it looks great. It comes with a leather case which I never used. The metal screw however bent when trying to open a bottle with a stuborn cork. If you want this type of corkscrew I recommend buying one with a carbon steel screw. A bit more expensive, but it will last longer.
Expected better performance at this $.
