When I opened the product I checked to make sure everything was in box and in one pice ( everything was there and looked good ). I put back into box for first use on christmas. When the time came to use it I found the base to to be uneven and had alot of movement when placed on a flat surface, I put the product back into the box [...]

OK for in home use only, not as a gift. Not very attractive in person, the picture makes it look a lot better. Too pricey for the quality you get. I would not buy another one.

Great design-drawer to hold knives when not in use
Knives are high quality
Wood of board is rougher than expected
Disapppointed that plexiglass was used instead of actual glass-will scratch over time even when exercising the greatest amount of care
