I purchased this set as a gift for a new wine drinker. There is no depth to the pictures on the plates, so they're hard to read, but they are colorful and bright! Nice, sturdy design will mean they are around for a long time!

Why use paper plates when you can use an attractive, modestly priced item over and over and make presentation of the food more attractive? We have a little snack every evening of cheese, apples and crackers and we use these pates.

I bought six sets of these appetizer plates. They come in a beautiful round gift box and I will keep two sets for myself and give the others as gifts to my wine & cheese loving friends. I gave these plates as a housewarming gift to a couple of budding enthusiasts. Not only were they thrilled with the novelty of the design, they were equally excited about finding Wine Enthusiast's web site. While I can't comment on their durability (since I'm not sure how they hold up for washing, dropping, etc) I do know this set had a great price, great design, and was greatly appreciated by the recipients.
