While I am to blame for not reading the description more clearly, this Christmas gift was not appreciated and was insulting to my Son who is a serious wine enthusiast. He had wanted a barrel top lazy susan like he had seen in Napa. There was nothing about this to indicate that this was a barrel top. I was so enthusiatic about finding one, I failed to realize it wasn't authentic. After opening it, it was obviously pine, but more disturbing, it had very recently been varnished. The smell was so strong I could not even keep it under the tree. We had to store it outside until he opened it. Needles to say he did not even take it home. I will be returning it right after the holidays. Authentic lazy susan's would be appreciated in your magazine. Thanks anyway Jan
