This product really works, and is a definite attention getter at restaurants. We attended a wine dinner recently, and all of the people at our table had a blast using it.
It does what it says it does

This is a true scientific measuring device and it does work. Follow the simple taste-testing instructions and prepare to be impressed! I have been busy reorganizing the "drink now" and "drink next year" sections of my cellar based on the results achieved with this device.

I gave the clef du vin as a Father's Day gift. My father called me the next day to tell me that he had tried it on two different red wines and was very impressed with the results. It turned out to be an ideal toy for the man who has everything.

We love the fact that it removes the tannins. We consistently use it for red wine at home, at wine tastings, and in restaurants. Fascinates others. Everyone we've shared it with can tell a difference in the taste of the wine. Provides immediate feedback on how the wine will age.

We were introduced to it at a wine tasting gathering with a few friends. Had to have one of our own. The jury is still out on its use with whites but it is very good with reds.

I was not sure about this item when I purchased it, but my boyfriend had seen it and wanted it. We tried it out as soon as we received it and I was amazed at how it really did age the wine. I am very impressed.

These are the hit at my local wine store for tastings! Yes, it does make a difference and works as advertised! A bit pricy, but definitely smooths out tannins and simulates much of the aging process. "Black magic" for many wines!
Unbelievable? Believe it!

The Clef du Vin should be on Ripley's Believe it or Not! Its effects on most wines are quite pronounced, taking the "bite" down by softening the tannins or intensifying the flavours. We are finding ourselves using it in every glass!

Given the price, I really was hoping that this worked. We love to try new wines, but sometimes you get one that hasn't quite reached it's time, so this is a great option to have to really enjoy a wine that we might not have otherwise. We have done taste comparisons and you really can taste the difference. It is very compact and portable with it's own little carry pouch, so you can easily take it with you out to dinner etc...I'm more than happy to recommend this product.
