I made mine using a stronger, fast drying glue. I needed to use an "exact-o knife" to cut the corks, as the sand paper was useless.
i WOULD BUY THIS PRODUCT AGAIN.

This is the perfect product for all those wine corks you have been saving. The frame is of really nice wood and looks great. The project took a little more time than I expected but that was fine, it was a lot of fun. The only drawback, which had been mentioned by other raters, was there was not enough glue included in the package.

These trivets are great for protecting the table as well as being an interesting center peice. People frequently comment on the wines that the corks came from. Additionally, they make great gifts for friends who are wine lovers.

I appreciate reading other customers reviews before purchasing things, especially online. I am very pleased with this product. The other comments about needing more wood glue is true and I thought the instructions were helpful when they suggested laying the corks out in a perimeter. I think the end result is wonderful, I've gotten two; one for our dining room & one for my father-in-law as a gift.

I made one for myself and a second for our neighbors. I think they are very neat as decor as well as functional trivet or bulitin board. A bit tricky to get all the corks to fit snug and "square". I wish it were just 1/4" smaller on two of the sides.

It's a great way to use and display all those corks I've collected over the years. Many bring back good memories. It can be used as a bulletin board and as an extra large trivet. On the down side, the amount of glue provided is less half of what is needed.
