I am a recent widow and my wine consumption has been greatly reduced. I don't like having to use my large decanter and trying to guess how much I might want to drink. This is the perfect answer, I can aerate one glass at a time and it seems to reduce the time necessary for breathing. It would make a great gift but all I would buy for already have one!

This works. I have never used a product that makes this much difference in the pleasure of drinking wine. Its like decanting a bottle for an hour in the time it takes to pour a glass. The transformation is amazing!

I bought it for when my husband and I wanted to have some wine and didn't have time to decanter it or time to air the wine. Especially if we were in a hurry for that first glass of wine. I enjoy this product and have taken it to parties. Its a conversation piece and everyone is very interested in it. I like it.

I use the wine aerator primarily to pour wine by the individual glass. Any doubts I had about the aerator at the time of purchase were erased in moments when I conducted a taste test of wine poured straight from the bottle versus wine poured through the aerator. What a difference! This product works as advertised. I am buying aerators for other family members and friends.

Simple to use and cleans up in seconds with running water--no need to even put in dishwasher. At a wine/food pairings class I attended last night, the instructor used one and said it's one of the best inventions to come along in a long time. Everyone in the class wanted one!

This item can be used for one glass, or can use it to sample one bottle pouring one glass using the Vinturi Wine Aerator and one glass from the same bottle without using the Aerator. Defintely shows that the use of the Aerator improves the wine at a moments notice. Great for wine tasting parties at home with friends.

eating out it is essential to have one of these. Most restaurants do not ever know what a decanter is never mind have one. Rinses easy, looks great,works great.Get a lot of looks from wait staff in restaurantswhen you pour your wine in the glass using it. They want to kn ow where they can get one. Where else but from you guys.

Using the Vinturi causes more drips than just pouring wine into a glass. It also requires a certain amount of hand/eye coordination to avoid overflow or spilling. We did blind tasting with friends and it does, in fact, improve the taste of wine a bit. It's a fun toy, but probably not entirely necessary.

Our local wine group all agrees...this little device DOES work! Definitely opens up wines--old ones, new ones, high alcohol content ones, and seems to accomplish the aeration process quickly and easily! Very good for having "just one glass" without aerating an entire bottle at one time.
Appears well made, is attractive, and, well, WORKS!

Very impressed with the immediate difference in the wine's taste after using the Vinturi Wine Aerator. Easy to use, simple to clean, and quite the conversation piece. Definitely worth the price.
I returned the first one because of the scratches at the holes. Apparently, that is a scratch made in manufacturing. It does not interfere with the functionality of the aerator.

Altered the way I treat a newly opened bottle of red or white wine. Using the "Vinturi Aerator" smoothes any rough edges of the wine and allows a fuller appreciation of bouquet and taste.

I have started using it on each pour on all bottles. I have had several guests tatse the wine straight from the bottle in one glass and through the Vinturi in another. Every one has said the Vinturi improved the wine. I think I will use it when I decant, also.

I used this product for the first tine at our monthly "Girls Night In" and it was a BIG hit! My friends and I are big wine fans and we are always looking for ways to get the best taste from the wines we select for our various times together. The fact that we could dive right into our favorite wine without having to let it "breathe" first was a welcome change. Also surprising was how much of a difference it actually made in the taste of the wine. We took a sip by pouring it straight from the bottle and another after being run through the Aerator and WOW! A wonderful taste experience.
I can't say anything i didn't like about this product.

This product is amazing! I have had so-called aereators in the past that never quite lived up to the hype. With this one, you can INSTANTLY smell the results and taste the results moments later.

I've done several test tastings with the Aerator. I decant all of my reds so I'm a big believer in the theory behind this product. I think it makes a difference, but not much. It's fun to watch and really adds the air - you can see the bubbles mixed in as it pours out, but I really can't taste & smell much difference between using this and pouring the bottle into a decanter and immediately pouring a glass. I was hoping this would replace a longer decanting time. Therefore, I'm not convinced it's worth the price. If you don't have a decanter, this serves the same purpose but doesn't take up the room. However, I'd recommend you get a decanter before this product.

This product is great. We use it all the time and it makes a huge difference in the wine that we drink. I was looking for a decanter but the venturi works to areate the wine right out of the bottle. Try it in side by side glasses to see the difference it makes. We love it and it is easy to carry with you wherever you go.
I bought one for my husband and one for my sister. When they came in my husband kept both. He wanted one for the bar and one to carry in his wine bag. When we take it out to a restaurant everyone loves it and can always tell the difference in the wine. It works on expensive wines and inexpensive wines. It really enhances a younger wine. Even homemade wines!! Now I just have to get one for my sister. For the price you can't go wrong
This is a great product but UK buyers beware, I got stung by Uk customes and Exise when my order arrived, they charged me tax not only on the value of the product but also on the shipping cost, it basically doubled the price! I can't critisie the product just the tax man screwing us again!

I enjoy wine one glass at a time but didn't like the inconvience of having to clean and dry a decanter for just a single glass. Now you can have decanted taste with easy quick clean up.
The only improvement would be for the Aerator to have a larger opening to prevent spillage when pouring wine out of the bottle to the Aerator

I use this aerator when I don't want to necessarily decant a whole bottle of wine for myself. I love this product! It is a great price for something like this,especially when you compare it to other ones of this kind. It helps open the bouquet of the wine a lot faster than if you had to wait on it to decant in a decanter.It is made well so that it washes easily too! I can't say anything bad about this product.

We were skeptical, but taste tested wine with and without the aerator and the difference was easily discernable. Now it's easy to open a bottle at the table, use the aerator and have a fully 'opened' wine.
What a difference in the taste. One of the best gifts I got for Christmas. I would buy it again and again. Good gift for people who are hard to buy for.

Informally, we use the Vinturi to decant individual glasses of wine. When entertaining, we decant the wine into our decanter through the Vinturi. It opens the wine and makes it immediately enjoyable without waiting. We travel with it now because we enjoy the differences in the wine.

The Vinturi Aerator really works, which is great for the wine's that need it, however it's not so great for the wine's that don't. It can give an almost watered down taste to the wine and take away some of the intensity of the flavor. I highly advise it, since it works very well, but I also advise tasting each bottle before using it and see if that bottle tastes better with or without it. (which is what I personally do).

I was skeptical. Did a 3-glass blind taste test with 9 different guests, with an inexpensive wine and a a moderately expensive bottle, two ways: 1)same bottle, 2 glasses aerated, 1 from the bottle, 2) 1 aerated, 2 from the bottle. Regardless of the wine, 8 out of 9 picked the aerated wine every time.

While at a holiday party over the weekend, I said "we should have brought the Vinturi!" as we sipped our glass of freshly opened Pinot Noir. The host was aware of the aerator and didn't know if it was "just a gimmick" or not. We assured him you can tell a difference and the difference is great.

This product is a great way to open up the flavors and aromas of any wine. You can use it to pour the wine straight into your glass or to pour it into a decanter; it's very versatile. When I'm ready to drink a glass of wine, I hate having to wait for it to "breathe," so this shortens my time of having to wait to enjoy my wine. We have found that it helps to develop the flavors of not only red wines, but whites as well. Happy to recommend it!

After using the aerator there is always a drop of wine that spills or stains the counter. It needs a place to set it down before use on that next glass of wine.

Especially great when serving one or two people or when you do not want to decant a whole bottle.
Easily washable but I would not place in a dishwasher.
Sometimes wine exits from the two air holes but not particularly bothersome if you watch out for it.
A nice conversation piece!
