I was looking for bulk storage in a small space and this does it. I've had it about 6 weeks and been very happy with it. If I had it to do over again, I might have ordered more sliding racks (which lowers the total capacity but makes it easier to retrieve the bottles).

Just got my EuroCave Premier delivered on Friday and I love it already, cannot wait to fill it. Like the other reviewer said the worst part is having to wait the 48 hours to plug it in. But after that, I was like a kid in a candy store. What a great product.

I am using the Euro Cave to expand my holdings beyond a 48-bottle capacity wine fridge in my kitchen. I'm very satisfied with the product but will have to make a minor adjustment to my baseboard heat to accomodate the cellar.

I was worried about the temperature swings from 53-60 but, I was assured the mean temp. would be 55 as set. Overall a solid machine and a nice overall look.

Great compact design for both short and long term storage. I noticed some on-line reviews mentioned inaccurate or fluctuating temperatures. What I have found is that it takes a couple weeks for the Eurocave to acclimate to it's environment before the temperature stabilizes. I would recommend the purchase of at least three additional shelves and a humidity gauge. The Premier 100 is a great compact cellar.

13 Years of Perfection!

I've owned this wonderful baby since 1995, for 13 years, and it survived two major house moves and several tropical storms. This model is a little different from the current model (these things change in 13 years), but the reliable technology is the same. I have the glass door and the rolling shelves that I would highly recommend, and it sits elegantly in our classy dining room. Dinner guests are drawn to this quiet beauty with approving smiles. But alas, it is now filled to overflow, so I just ordered a EuroCave Comfort 260. I did not even consider another brand after these 13 years of perfect performance. I would strongly recommend a EuroCave to my best friend as well as to anyone who asks. Enjoy the elegance! (P.S. - I am moving the old EuroCave friend into the breakfast nook and installing the new one into the Dining Room)

As Advertised But . . .
By MichaelVerified Purchaser from New Orleans on 2/6/2008
Pros:
Adjustable Shelving
Cons:
Inconsistent Temp, Innacurate Temperature
Best Uses:
Basement
Describe Yourself:
Casual Taster

With all that's made of "constant temperature" being the most important element of successful long-term bottle aging, and given EuroCave's reputation as one of the best makers of refrigerated cabinets, I did not expect the 4-5 degree temperature swings that I've been seeing on multiple occasions each day during the two weeks my new cabinet has been operating. I don't know whether these temperature swings are a problem or whether they're to be expected and still constitute "constant temperature." It's disappointing that my only real problem with the unit concerns its most important function. If temperature swings like this are to be expected, it might help if you mentioned that in the product description. If these variations in temperature are within normal limits for "constant temperature," then I don't have any problem with the unit and would recommend it to others.

After doing a whole bunch of homework on Eurocave, I finally decided on this product. I've now had it for about 14 months, and it has been great. We bought a new house and had to have it moved. No problem there! I emptied it myself and transported the wine, but had no problems re-setting up my system. Adjustable shelves are invaluable. It is quiet - haven't noticed any noise, but maybe because it is in a room that we rarely use. I've been VERY pleased. The only thing I need to do is buy the filter that they say should be replaced every 12 months or so.

EuroCave Premier 100

Cons:
Loud when temp adjusts
Best Uses:
Dining room

Aspiring Enthusiast
Bottom Line:

I just received my Eurocave Premier 100 a few days ago. At first, we were concerned our standard 3-prong 120 volt outlets were not sufficient for the Eurocave, but an electrician assured us they were. I ordered the extra shelves, thank god. The 1 sliding shelf it came with is not sufficient. The sliding shelves are very easy to install/adjust. The shelves allow for 2 bottles deep, so there is more room than it looks like. Only issue we have.. it is not quiet when adjusting temps. It makes an annoying mild buzz frequently on and off for periods. Don't put this in a room that you'd like to keep quiet. Overall, we are happy with it so far. I would have liked to buy a performance level, but Eurocaves are so expensive!
