When I tried this product, I was disappointed on how slow it took for the wine to pour. It takes a very long time to get just one glass filled using this device. It was faster and easier to use a decanter.

This product seems to work as described. It was bought as a gift and was a big hit as it was fairly new to the market. It did everything the description said it would. As far as the airation goes it's hard to tell. It did get air inside and the wine tasted just fine and no one got a headache. While I don't think this will turn up at the finest wineries around the world it did make a great gift and had a very big "WOW" factor. The person I bought it for LOVED it! [...][...]

Our experience has been that most wine aerators are more awkward to use and often we would just skip using them at home if we weren't entertaining. The design of this multi-use tool has been wonderful for all purposes intended. I purchased the wine finer as gifts for my husband and parents and they have both already purchased more as gifts for others. Great product.

I haven't yet done a blind taste test to see how much difference the aeration makes to a casual drinker like myself, but functionally it works just fine.
To those who say it pours slowly, I say read the instructions on the back of the box: you need to pour at a very steep angle (like six or seven o'clock) to get past the trickle stage, so make sure you've pushed it firmly into the bottle :)
I would recommend it to everyone!

The product is attarctive and easy to use. I found that it did help aerate the wine. The only drawback was that the wine only trickles out until the bottle is half empty. If pouring for yourself it's fine, if pouring for guests it can be very annoying.

The wine finer does indeed improve the wine by reducing an hour of "breathing" to a few seconds of bubbly pouring. The stopper might be too loose to serve as a bottle cap for more than an hour or so. The pourer, however, is both simply elegant and effectively simple. Easy to assemble. Easy to clean. To make the most of its aeration feature, the user should pour the wine from at least a few inches above the glass or carafe.

the bottle of wine needs to be at least half way empty or full (depending on how you look at things) for this Wine Finer to start releasing wine from the bottle at touch more than a drip. I bought 2, one for a gift and one for myself. Had to apologize to the gift recipient!
