The smells are easy to identify and you quickly get the hang of it! It's great for beginners. The hard part is trying to find the subtlities in the different wines.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I felt that the scents in the wine bouquet kit were so faded that scents in 11 of the 12 bottles were so faint that they were undetectable. We had a party of 20 people and the common response was "I can't smell anything". I do not feel these kits should be sold unless fresh and the scents detectable.

Product works in that it gives you a scent of leather, blackberry etc. The scents are sometimes hard to pick out, that is why it is not rated higher. I think the aroma fades quickly after opening each jar.
