Lever to release wine was broken while trying to operate first time. Apparently needed to be primed - found direction of such after the fact - perhaps tape clear warning notice on part itself.

While it is true this piece is very delicate, it is no more so than the fine stemware. My husband and I take the test with every veriatal. One sip the old fashioned sniff and swirl and then through the Gemini. Wow the difference is amazing! I shopped for a long time for a decanter and just couldn't take my eyes off this one. I recommend it to all our wine enthusiast frends.

Worth the price!!

Great product! From a wine lover, but a frugal one, this product improves the taste of every wine poured into it...even the $7.00 wines! Try sampling a wine from the bottle, then sample the same wine poured into the decanter...WOW! What a difference!
