The slip-resistant handle has a stylish appearance; too bad it requires too much hand force in case of a stubborn cork. Handle should be longer tip-to-tip to allow for a more comfortable grip and better distribution of force when lots of leverage is needed. Several years ago we wore out a Screwpull that did have a long "wingspan" handle, and we're sorry this one isn't as good.
These were bought for a winery that had tried several types of corkscrews, only to have them break after short usage. We have been using the Screwpull for over 2 years now, without one mishap. There are fancier ones out there, but none as dependable!
