The stand (which had very few parts) should have been very easy to assemble. Unfortunately, it required sanding to enable the parts to fit together properly and, even now, is a bit wobbly.

This wine opener is a staple item at our house. It will really spoil you after the first use. I can barely use a conventional cork screw now. Be sure and get the stand that goes with it. You don't even have to remove the foil over the cork.

We received the corkscrew as a gift but didn't have a counter edge to use it. I was delighted to find the stand at [...]and at such a great price. It is solid construction and easy to use.
