I had a Legacy Corkscrew that I loved for years. Then came the synthetic corks, which broke the worm on that corkscrew in just a few months time. I bought another about a year ago, and the grip wouldn't work -- the wine bottle would just fall out, no matter how hard you tried to grip. So, I decided to give it one more try. What is billed as "synthetic cork friendly" means that it doesn't remove natural corks -- the worm goes in and comes right back out. A big disappointment, but I'll be returning this one.
