I have owned two of these units. The first one lasted two years and the second a little over a year. They were both installed according to specs in two separate wine cellars. The drains constantly get clogged, the units are noisy and they are built like junk. The motors burned out on both units. The first one tripped my circuit breaker. The second actually poured smoke out the exhaust fan. Thank god I was home as I would have had a nice little fire on my hands. I replaced both with Wine Guardian models, both have worked flawlessly. If you are building a cellar and plan to fill it with anything other than "box wine", than invest in something other than this unit.
