  Thank you for your question, yes this Ice Maker will keep the ice cold in the lift-out bin while in use. The ice maker automatically stops working when the ice basket is full. If ambient temperature is below 60°F, it is recommended to select small or medium size to avoid ice sticking together.

While the unit is larger than expected I found it simple to use and not too noisy to be around our group. (It is portable and is still pretty easy to carry.) I was looking for an easy way to get the volume of ice for entertaining. This fits the bill. I hate all the ice bags and trips to town....no more. Would highly recommend.

We needed an ice machine for a small bar area that we have set up in the house. This devise is smaller than a refridgerator, but it is larger than we expected. It works great though so it was a welcome addition to our home.

I love this ice maker; fits nicely on our bar top, and I always use the 'small' size cubes. Takes about 30-40 minutes to fill the container completely. We live in a very dry climate so we have no issues with the cubes being too 'wet'.

Any leftover cubes I put into plastic bags and simply knock the bag on the floor once to loosen up the cubes to use.

The size is good, but it is very noisy in the ice-making stage. Also, using our RO water the ice
cubes are still not clear as we would like them to be and as stated.
