Sorry, no returns on personalized items, custom wine cellars, custom wine racks, cooling units, audiovisual products (CDs, DVDs, etc.), computer software, books, food, or plants. Shipping is refunded only if items were personalized incorrectly in production, the wrong items were shipped, or merchandise was received damaged. For all free-standing wine cellars, wine racks, large furniture pieces, and cooling units, pre-payment will be required, and a 20% restocking charge will be imposed for any cancellations or returns.

The legs did not accept the rubber feet in two cases. The first one it was impossible to fit one leg with the rubber foot, the second one (after the return of the first) had a leg which required a struggle to get a foot on it and the rack remains wobbly. Not terribly happy but better than nothing or more shopping.

We had just purchased this item and placed it in our newly-finished basement, which was serving as a wine-cellar/dining room. The night of Hurricane Irene, we went downstairs, opened a bottle of wine, and toasted to our happiness. Later that night, our basement was under 2 ft of water. The wine rack survived! If it had been made of wood, it would have been a goner. We won't forget that night for a long time.

For its height and resulting high center of gravity, the base is a bit small. On carpet, it seems like it could tip if bottles aren't removed from the top rows first. It would probably be more stable on a hard surface such as a wood floor. That said, it has never tipped over, even on carpet - it just causes some worry that way.

This is a no-assembly wine rack that fits a good amount of bottles (23) in a very compact space. We had been searching for a year for a solution for a small nook in our living room and this fit the bill. The rack is not well packaged (just loosely placed in a box), so it's a good thing it was metal and not wood, otherwise the legs would have arrived damaged from the shipping. And once opened, we found it to be a little wobbly on our wood floors (might not be an issue for carpeted floors).
