This aerator is stylish, easy to use, and well-designed. It appears to soften wines in the mouth, reducing the apparent astringency resulting in a rounder, softer feel on the palate. The nose also seems to open up a bit, revealing more fruit and floral notes. Even older wines can benefit, in some cases, from the opening up of bouquet and taste elements. The only drawback, as far as I can see, is that inferior wines that attempt to use astringency as a substitute for balanced acidity (e.g. flabby, over-skinned New World and high tech wines) will be exposed as the astringency is reduced, revealing the underlying lack of backbone. Truth will out.

Because of its size it is convenient to take to a restaurant. However, it is less effective than the Vinturi Aerator. Unfortunately the Vinturi Aerator is bulkier and messier.

This product is so easy to use. It does not drip after you pour the wine.

The most compact, un-obstuctive, sleek design (unlike all those bulky aerators). Easy to use, easy to wash, I use it for my daily wine drinking and love it. Gave one to my parents, and they said when they accidentally broke the cork when opening, the aerator was perfect in filtering out the broken cork pieces as well (multi-tasker!) :D

I was fairly sure that an aerator would work but not sure how significant a difference it would make. Wow! What a difference. I did the taste test with friends and were they surprised. Like me, they were so surprised at how much difference it makes and how much smoother and flavorable the wine suddenly becomes. My thanks to the designer of this product.

This is such a wonderful, practical invention! The size is perfect to take a long with you, too! You never have to be without a perfectly aerated wine!

This works great, some restaurants i go to have great food but not so great wines, this help open up some young ones, and makes them bearable to drink, I like it so much I buy them as gifts for my friends

Nice and small enough to fit in your pocket! The only reason i did'nt give it 5 stars, because its a little pricey!
