How long will a bottle stay good after first tapped?
jschler on Sep 18, 2013
BEST ANSWER: This doesn't spray at all. It just puts nitrogen into the bottle where the s=air would have been to keep your wine at it's best. The little "tap" system just draws from the fresh wine, it doesn't "pump" the wine.
How long (on the average) does the tank last.
Mr Kevin on Jan 14, 2012

Finally no more wine spoilage
Customer Service from NitroTap was very good. They took the time to talk to me about the unit and explain how to test for leaks. They replaced the tap which had a bad valve and replaced the gas that leaked out because of the bad valve. It is a very simple design and I doubt if it breaks often.

Works great!
This was one of the best items we have found to prevent the waste of wine from not finishing the bottle. The wine is just as good after a week as it was when we opened it.[...]

Jury is out!
THere is little available in single bottle systems and not much has changed in the innovation or design of the nitrogen based system. With that said, I believe this version doesn't seal up very efficiently.

This product works great
This product works great, It would be nice if you could order longer tubing to hide the ugly can.

Rubbish. Great idea, poor quality
Wine Enthusiast personnel, selection and communications is absolutely first rate. I have no hesitation in buying anything here because of the level of knowledge and professionalism. The item was unsatisfactory but everyone at every stage, particularly involving returning it was superb.

works great, poor aesthetics for the $
wine stays really fresh for days and the convenience of the low pressure tap is great. You have to find something to hide th canister behind unless you have a container/box to put it in and perhaps place the bottle on with a drip tray, although dripping has been very minimal and mostly when the bottle is exchanged.
