If the unit exhausts into an adjoining room is there a problem with leaks or condensation dripping?
Tom B on Feb 24, 2018
BEST ANSWER: You will need a drain tube and some way to collect the condensate. I was able to run a long drain tube to my sump pump. A bucket will also work, but you’ll have t get into the habit of dumping it every week.
Hi. I have a 1040 c f cellar,do you think that the n'finity 4200 will do the trick?thank you for the input.
Tony C on Jul 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Absolutely will do the job as long as the room has proper insulation and the unit is mounted properly near the top of the room. I have just over 1,000 CF to cool and the unit has performed without issues.
how about humidity control??
babak j on Apr 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hello Babak,
This system will help "maintain" existing room humidity because it cools at a gradual pace.
That is a major difference of a wine cellar cooling system vs. an air conditioner.

If you want to introduce humidity we offer a separate wall mounted humidification system that you would need to run a water line to.

Feel free to reach one of our Wine Cellar Specialists @ 1-800-356-8466 to discuss.
Thank you.
So this web page says 32A start and 5A running. The manual page six says 110V/20A. There is also not a plug spec. So which is it?
Sean H on Apr 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: it has a three pronged plug. Use a 20A outlet and you will be fine. If you are not sure of the rating on the outlet go to the electrical panel and read the rating on the breaker.
Is the condensate tray plastic or rustproof? What structures are anti-corrosive ?
Don W on Jul 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It actually has a 1/4' line that comes off the backside of the unit for a drain. Works perfect for me since the rear of the unit is under the house so I just ran the line out. You could route the line to a bucket or something else to catch any drainage.
I need a thermostat temperature around 68-75 degrees will this unit go up that high?
Paul D on Sep 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi the N'FINITY cooling unit can be set at any temperature within the
acceptable wine-aging range of 50°F to 67°F

I've had bad experience with a WhisperKool unit in two homes in two cellars. (failures). I tried a new N'Finity this time instead of repairing the older unit again. So far I'm real pleased. Quieter. Less expensive. Looks good. Easy to install. In stock. Time will tell as I see longevity.

Seems good but...
Product seems well made but came with a couple of parts that I do not understand why they were included and they are not addressed in the manual. Called Wine Enthusiast Customer Service a week ago and the only option was voice mail. I left a message but they have not yet returned my call.

Works Like a Charm
My cellar is 900-1000 CU feet and the N'Finity 4200 is perfect for the room. I have it set at 58 and it holds that temperature without issue. The black decor works well in my cellar as all my racks are black. I like the the way it looks, the ease of installing, and the fact that it delivered in 7 days. I have only had it for 1 month now but it is everything I could have hoped for.

Great cooler for that wine room
I installed this with a friend ten days ago and the installation was straight-forward. Instructions, except for the control panel, are easy to understand and the installation kit gives you everything you need -- except for some kind of front facing for the unit. To make it pretty and hide the saw cut lines facing the interior of your room, be prepared to install some kind of frame around the unit, such as finish molding. The unit runs fairly quietly and is doing a great job of holding the set temperature in my room. There is no humidity control, so be prepared to empty a bucket or add water, depending on your situation. I am hapy with my purchase thus far.

So far so good
Easy installation, attractive, so far it is performing well. I have only just installed this unit so I look forward to it's long term performance. It does not seem to be over-working and keeps the 700sq ft cellar at perfect temp.

Two months and still COOL!
I was able to replace two 120+ bottle eurocave refrigerators by converting a room to a wine cellar.
So far I am very pleased, and,now I have more room for wine!

My second unit
Installed one of these in our former house and it worked perfectly for years. Now installed one in a newer home and installation was straightforward again and the unit is working well - although it has only been installed for a week or so. I don' expect any problems.

So far, so good
The unit installed without difficulty. It is quieter than the unit it replaced and holds temperature in my wine room very well.

Works great!
This wine room cooler works as advertised. I love that it is based on wine temp and not air temp (= better efficiency). I also love that the wine enthusiast folks called me before I took delivery to make sure what I ordered was what would fit my plans. As it turned out, what I ordered was not the best fit for the price. So now that my wine room is finished and this cooler has been in place for 6 months, I can say I love it! Works as advertised and keeps my wine at 55 degrees.

N'Finity 4200 replacing 3000
The new cooler works great and only runs about 40% of the time.compared to the 3000 ran continuously. I wish I had been told I could get the cord that exited the front rather than the rear. Had to make modifications to the wine cellar to get the cord back inside and not have it visible. All in all a good upgrade.
