I have been collecting wine for about 8 years. As I continue to collect and join wine clubs I needed more space to store my wines. I had one cooler and then I started storing my wines in cases in a wine storage facility. The cost and inconvienence of this method lead me to purchasing the N'Finity 340 pair of coolers about 5 months after my brother purchased them. So far they are doing the job and look great in my garage. They are not super quiet so I would not recommend them for in the house (they sound like a refridgerator when the compressor runs.

I measured a space in my garage to fit this unit, which is essentially two individual units bolted together. While I accounted for an 8" doorswing, figuring I could slide bottles in, be aware that you need to open the doors a full 90 degrees to slide out the shelves. And, you can't fit in anything but the smallest bottle without sliding the shelves out. Otherwise, the cellar functions beautifully, as advertised, with relatively low temperature variance between zones.

The temperature varies between 2-4 degrees per day. When the unit kicks on to cool back to the set temperature, it is very loud. Too bad it can't maintain the set temperature.

This cabinet system replaced a 185 bottle system with traditional two-deep grid racks. I was excited to bring my capacity up to 340, but found that since about half of my 275 bottle inventory was pinot noir and syrah, the real capacity will likely be in the 290 - 300 range. I guess I wasn't totally shocked, but I did not think it would be that significant. Each rolling shelf is designed to hold 11 very traditional Bordeaux style bottles. I found that even among my 60 bottles of Bordeaux, some of the bottles were a little taller, or a little fatter, and the real capacity tended to be about 10 per shelf. With Pinot Noir and Syrah bottles, I found capacity to be as low as 7 and more commonly 9 bottles. This 10% or more reduction in capacity should be carefully considered by the purchaser.There seems to be slight variation in height between shelves based on very mild warping of wood used to construct the shelves. Some shelves seemed to accommodate slightly larger than average pinot/syrah bottles (still talking about 750 ml) better than others. In some cases, I have to slightly lift the shelf above to roll it out because the bigger bottles catch on the lip of the shelf above. Seriously, a quarter of an inch between each shelf would have made a huge difference.I was very pleased that the larger spacing at the top of each section of the cabinets has extra height, and accommodated a couple of magnums easily, which would otherwise have required removing shelves. That is also where I put my sparkling wine to avoid difficulty pulling shelves out.Mine is located in our dining room, and as others have noted, it is a little loud, but that wan't surprising. It is fine except for the short intervals when the compressor cycles on; most of the time it is a very modest ambient noise and I think you get used to it as just household noise.Because these are really two independent units - which are not actually connected or tied together in any way - there can be some difficulty in actually making them line up perfectly where they look like a seamless unit. When we first pushed them together, one of the doors would catch on the other unit's door when you tried to open and close. Had to actually separate by a quarter inch. [...] There is a very slight variation in the door hang and therefore the handles and the top of the door do not align perfectly. It is perhaps 1/8 to 1/4 inch, and not enough for me to get upset over, but if that kind of thing bugs you . . . I just knew that no one else would be paying that close attention while walking by or eating dinner. I might have been able to adjust it, but it would have required laying it down while empty (it weighs 250 lbs) and I figured I could do more damage and make it worse. So I left it alone.All in all, for me this is an intermediate solution to a long-term goal of a walk-in cellar, and I think it is a good value for the capacity, despite its flaws.

The delivery company reversed the door direction prior to delivery/install. There is a very slight variation in the door hang and therefore the handles and the top of the door do not align perfectly. It is perhaps 1/8 to 1/4 inch, and not enough for me to get upset over, but if that kind of thing bugs you . . . I just knew that no one else would be paying that close attention while walking by or eating dinner. I might have been able to adjust it, but it would have required laying it down while empty (it weighs 250 lbs) and I figured I could do more damage and make it worse. So I left it alone.

The product fits well within our home. It stores a perfect amount of wine however if you like champagne or sparkling you'll have to lose a shelf because it won't fit well as the shelfing is for red/white bottles.

Some product reviews consider it noisy however its a low noise hum when the cooler kicks on. Once you're used to it it becomes ambient noise.

As for the temperature, I'm disappointed because I set the white for 43 degree and I'll notice the white temp goes up to 48 and then back down to 43...not consistent.

I moved recently and don't have room for an actual wine cellar. I bought these units as a compact substitute. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

They look great - black with stainless trim. They sit in our exercise room, but would look good in most settings. The construction is solid, including the nice wood shelves that easily roll in and out. Reading other reviews, my biggest concern was noise from the compressors, but this is not at all a problem. I've sat working right next to the units, and barely notice the noise. Certainly no more than a kitchen refrigerator.

As others have stated, the actual capacity is much less than 340 bottles. Each shelf nominally holds 11 bottles, but only if they are the perfect size. Slightly longer bottles (even 1/2 inch longer) reduce the capacity to 9 bottles. Wider bottles reduce the capacity to 8. There is one shelf in each unit that is deeper, needed for champagne and other wide/fat bottles. Sometimes the fatter bottles will just barely fit on the standard shelf, but sometimes make it difficult to pull out those shelves.

There was one small design flaw. The handles on the two units don't quite line up vertically. One was installed about 1/4 inch higher than the other. It's not very noticeable, unless you're the person trying to level and align the units.

I've noticed temperature variations of +/- 3 degrees. This doesn't seem like much to me, but some my consider that high.

I have both temperatre settings at same deisred temperature and it seems like they can never get to this temp at the same time. Both units have same amount of bottles within. Seems like they are running a lot to get to desired temperature as well...
