We were excited to order a product that seemed to fit our needs especially with all the shelves able to pull out and the number of claimed bottles it could store for the price. Upon delivery we were pleased with the look and apparent quality but ended up disappointed when we struggled to get our pinot noir bottles to fit in the unit. They will fit only on a few shelves. This also happened with bottles that were similar in size to champagne bottles. They tend to rub and get caught on the shelves above them when trying to role the shelves in and out. We were quite heartbroken on this discovery. Why couldn't the manufacturer add two or three inches to the overall height of the unit to space out the shelves an extra 1/8 of an inch the pinot bottles need! Although we choose 'Recommend to a friend' we would say the recommendation is with reservations. Now you know.

The cellar is very attractive and looks great in our game room. The shelves slide smoothly and also look good. My biggest issue is the fact that the shelves are too close together to support larger Pinot Noir and Chardonnay bottles; I had to remove a shelf to make room for these bottles. The temperature is a bit erratic, but it's acceptable. Not necessarily a quiet unit, but again, it's acceptable. Bottom line - for the price, I would find this cellar hard to beat.

I just got this unit as second unit for extra storage. While the design and lighting is very nice, I do not like the shelving and its louder than the Eurocave. The shelves are m biggest disappointment. Larger bottles do not fit on the shelves as they are formatted. The shelves are also difficult to remove. You will not get 170 bottles of higher end wine in this unit. While its a decent starter unit, I would spend the extra money if you can afford it and go with the Eurocave. Probably what I should have done.

looks nice and performs well, the 170 bottle capacity is a stretch, you will not fit 170 bottles in this unit

not as good as my Eurocave, but a lot less expensive. Heavy plastic smell when I first opened it. the smell cam from the shelving, and the smell dissapated after a few days. The shelves are plastic and feel cheap. maybe a different resin would have given a more wood-like feel.

After reading the reviews, I expected the unit to be louder than it is. I've got it in my bar, and my bar fridge makes more noise than the N'FINITY. There is no issue at all with noise, especially with the TV on. I'm only using the unit for red wines, and I haven't noticed a temperature variance more than 1 degree.

My N'finity is built in and is quiet,attractive and the temp stays within 2degrees of the settings. This is a very good buy for the price.

Bottom line, it's a pretty good deal for the price. It's not the quietest unit out there, but it's not overly loud either. Most importantly, you will NEVER get 170 bottles in this thing. Even saying it is a 170-capacity unit is very, very misleading. That said, if all your bottles are cabernet bottles, you should be able to fit appx. 150-160...don't expect more.

I have a small home so I have this cellar in my home office space for longer term wine storage. I have a beautful credenza-style cellar in my living room for everyday use. The Infinity cellar is both attractive and functional for the price and amount it stores. I like the LED display of temperatures that you can easily see through the door.

I wish the unit was a bit deeper as so many wineries use the tall bottles. The feature that perplexes me the most is the requirement to set the temperature in the lower section higher than the upper. As warm air rises, this is counterintuitive and, I think, contributes to the difficulty of properly regulating the temperature in both sections. I had to experiment a lot with settings to get the temp ranges I want as the settings do not correspond to the resulting temperatures. On a related note, the deeper shelf which works for champagne is the top shelf of the bottom section, in spite of the fact that champagne should be kept at the lowest temperature.

Service and delivery comments:

The cellar arrived with a small crack in the bottom grill and one foot, which was not visible on inspection. After the deliverymen departed I discovered that this prevented me from opening the door, although it took lying on the floor with a flashlight to discover the problem. I did not know if the door would not open because it was locked, and as the manual and keys were inside, it was a bit tricky to figure out the problem.

I received my cellar on a Friday afternoon Pacific Time, so I was not able to reach Customer Service until the following Monday. After consulting with them and receiving permission to remove the door and grill without voiding my warranty, I did so and removed the broken bottom grill, which Customer Service replaced without charge. The grill was a bit tricky to remove, as the screws in the upper inside of the grill are difficult to reach and without room for a standard Phillips screwdriver. The manual did not describe how to get to them correctly. All was eventually solved, however, and Customer Service personel were courteous.

Overall we are really enjoying our N'finity Cellar. It's been a great convenient size and holds the temps just right. Design gets kudos from everyone who visits. The unit is quite loud when cycling, however, so take note of that when considering placement. Also, more flexible space for non-standard size bottles would be a big plus since many of our bottles fall into that category. Lastly, we've noticed a little bit of sagging with some of the shelves, which has made pulling out shelves below a little hard.
