is the base width the same as the rim width?
Brad S on Feb 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No, the diameter of the rim is 4 3/4" and the diameter of the base is 3 1/4". I had the same concern after reading the description/reviews. But they're very stable and gorgeous. I LOVE these glasses! They look very expensive.
I like a very thin lipped rim, how would you characterize the lip of these glasses?

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your inquiry. The Luigi Bormioli Martini Glasses have a very thin edge to the glass. Everyone has a different opinion on what that may be, but these are extremely popular and I believe you would be very happy with them. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to us directly at 800 356 8466. Thank you again.
Are these glasses signed luigi bormioli on the bottom? If not when did they stop signing them?
Lorrgeno on Mar 12, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your inquiry. I did not see any logo or signature on the bottom of the glass. As to when they had stopped, I am not positive on the date. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to us directly at 800 356 8466. Thank you again.

Good glass, good price.
My martinis fit in these large glasses with about 3/8" of space below the brim, which reduces spillage and awkward handling without creating the perception of a niggardly poor. The glass has a pleasing heft, exeptional clarity, and an elegant shape. I'll do my best not to test their strength and durability, so I'll take the manufacturer at their word about that. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Large glasses; great customer servce
One of the glasses in the four-pack was broken. A quick call to customer service put me in touch with an articulate agent who promptly send a replacement four-pack.

Good Buy
Very nice martini glasses, maybe a little too large but I gave them as a gift and the recipient loved them.

looks are deceiving,performance OK
The aesthetics of a martini glass, and its fragility or lack thereof, are key to me, including size(less than 7 oz, preferrably 4-6 oz.). Picture didn't do justice to an oversize base plate, and too big a cup. Interestingly, oz size was not listed. My bad. Made reasonable guess based on dimensions only.
