are there visible seams on these glasses?
A shopper on Jul 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: There are no visible seams. From a distance they appear to be glass. These glasses are good for outdoor use but I still prefer glass for martinis.
are these plastic?
rich c on Dec 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I want to say they are acrylic and not plastic. They look like glass and are nicely sized. I purchased them so I could enjoy a martini in true fashion while in my hot tub or poolside. I'm a little bit of a snot about things like this, so I made sure to buy something as nice as I could without risking glass should an accident happen.

Hope this helps!
Dishwasher safe?
Ginnie C on Jun 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Never tried to put them in the dishwasher. They are a polycarbonate and my assumption would be that sooner or later they would get cloudy from the heat. I bought mine for my RV and they have been perfect and they are really easy to wash by hand and just turn upside down to dry after rinsing.
If these glasses are chilled will they hold sugar or salt for a lemon drop martini or margarita?
Barbara H on Aug 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have never tried to chill them as the martinis are usually really cold when shaken. And yes, if you dip the rim or run a lime or lemon around the rim they will hold sugar or salt. I've not used mine for a margarita because I usually like something larger but I've not had any problem with sugar for a lemon drop

Polycarbonate Martini Glasses
A bit on the expensive side but worth it. My polycarbonate wine glasses survived a RV accident that destroyed almost everything. They are in perfect condition. The martini glasses were a no brainer.
