After having almost all of my Riedel chard glasses knocked over and broken by dog's tails, running kids, tipsy guests and me ... I bought these. I hate to jinx it but I haven't broken one yet! The glass is nice and thin too.

I hoped I was done buying stemware when I bought four types of Reidel glasses six years ago. Unfortunately, eleven of twelve chardonnay glasses have broken.

These Fusion magnesium-based glasses seem to be the answer. Although it's too early to testify to their durability, they are attractive high-quality glasses and all of them made it through the holiday season entertaining.

They are taller than Reidel's, but seem to be well balanced and fit the hand nicely. They are big enough to pour a generous glass, but not so big that a bottle disappears in three pours.

If they hold up as expected, they will be the best of the many glasses I've owned. With prices on sale less than half that for Reidel, they are also a fine value.

Stemware is on our endangered species list. Between flailing dog tails, cats and the usual accidents, normal stemware had a life-expectancy of about 6 weeks. These glasses are great. They won't survive a drop to the floor from the counter top, but they will survive the more typical knock over on the counter or sink.

My wife and I entertain frequently and have been using Fusion stemware for 3+ years with very minimal breakage, (2 of 32 glasses). Being dishwasher safe was a huge selling point but the design and overall durability, even in our outdoor kitchen setting, has made us fans for life. Great style and great product.

I liked the cabernet glasses I got earlier this year and bought the chardonnay ones in August. So far, three have broken in the diswasher--not shattered, just like a bite was taken out of the rim. [...] I'm handwashing from now on. I guess at the price they're pretty nice, but "dishwasher safe" isn't accurate.

Pleasure to drink out of these glasses - great shape - and they do not feel fragile like some glasses can. Have put them through the dishwasher once so far and they were fine.

I washed the glasses as soon as they arrive. The very first glass broke when I accidentally tapped it against the side of the kitchen sink. I need information for receiving a replacement. We love the shape,size and feel of the glasses. We purchased them because we seem to have a problem with breaking cheaper glasses.

Bought 3 boxes of thechablis/chardonnay style as a christmas gift - the recipient LOVED them! I got to use them too and they are wonderful to drink out of. I personally think the shape lends itself very well to any white or red wine if you are wanting a shape that can serve both purposes without having to have shelves full of different style glasses.
Can't comment on durability or ease of washing as they aren't in my home, however, when it comes time to replace my wine glasses I will definitely be looking to get this brand
