Comments about Freeze Wine Tumbler Glass (Set of 2):
I bought these glasses thinking it was the solution I have been looking for. I wanted something to keep my drinks icy cold for up to an hour without having to use ice and diluting the Crown Royal that I drink. I was excited to receive the product and instantly read the directions and followed them. They are pretty straightforward and simple. Turn the cup upside down and put it in your freezer for one hour to chill the glass. The first several times I use the glass it worked perfectly.
Then I went to use it one night and I noticed that it was cracked at the bottom of the glass. I called customer service and they are very pleasant to deal with and immediately sent out a replacement set. I was thinking bonus! And that I got a extra glass out of the deal. However by the time the new set arrived the second glass had also broke at the bottom.
I received a new package read the directions again to make sure I have not missed anything and then put them in the freezer for later use. The very next time I used it the glass broke again at the bottom of the glass. I again called customer service and they again were very pleasant to deal with and sent me a replacement set. So I was back to thinking bonus! And I have got three for the price of two. WRONG!
However play the same scenario again and the second glass broke by the time the next ones arrived. Read the directions again. Froze glasses again. Went to use them on Thanksgiving and broke both the first time I used it again at the bottom of the glass. I am very sad as I cannot find a similar product anywhere. I don't want to use those cheap plastic drink cups I want something a little classier than that. Unfortunately even though customer service was willing to send out yet another set I just chose to deal with the frustration and disappointment. I was as careful as I could have possibly been with these classes. Especially after the first time they broke. I went to great lengths to make sure that hat AC place in the freezer and we're not getting crushed by any surrounding items.
I was very careful in how I used and cleaned the classes. I am at a loss as to an explanation as to why this keeps happening other than they are not manufactured thick enough to withstand the liquid that is inside. Even though from the description it has a release valve at the bottom I just do not comprehend how this can keep happening to six glasses.
