Is this unit available without the wine refrigerator? If yes, at what price? Thanks
Ken P on Mar 13, 2016
This doesn't appear to be a wine cooler meant for under mount storage. I worry about overheating. How are you managing this?
chris on Apr 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The back panel behind the wine cellar on the credenza needs to be removed if you are placing the wine cellar in that area. This will allow for the proper airflow ventilation of the cellar.
Can the shelves be removed for bottleS to stand upright?
Kevin B on Jul 30, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The shelves are removable . Unfortunately the bottom has ridges so you would have to add a flat surface like a piece of plexiglass to stand up bottles after you remove shelves .
can I order one with two shelves instead of the of the cooler?
jagdei m on Sep 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes you can order this credenza without the 28 bottle unit. Please see item number 335 16 02 , this will have 2 solid adjustable shelves instead on the right side.
Can you send a wood swatch to see the exact color to my address?
Beatriz Z on Mar 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes we have swatches available for the Firenze Credenzas.
Does this cabinet lock?
Candie on Nov 29, 2015
BEST ANSWER: No this cabinet does not lock.
What type of wood is it made of?
Kim L on Nov 29, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Seems to have multiple types. Drawers and doors have a different textured finish from the outer surface, which seems to be a lighter-weight wood. The material isn't 100% smooth; it does have some small indentations around.

Great-looking functional piece worth the price!
We stumbled upon this piece and it was exactly what we were looking for! Our place tends to run a bit hot, so we wanted the fridge and didn't need open-air wine storage, which most pieces tend to have.

The piece looks good from afar, but the material doesn't quite shine at close inspection. Luckily, you'll probably have people more interested in the contents than the piece itself. Even though it's a dry bar, liquor bottles look fantastic in somewhat of a classy way when the cabinet doors are left open. The surface is also a great height for a cocktail-making workspace, and there's ample room to store bar tools, liquor that doesn't fit, and a SodaStream or something.

Overall, furniture with built-in wine fridges tends to run way more expensive, and this one's absolutely worth the price!

Here are some things to keep in mind:
The unit won't be flush against the wall, as the refrigerator needs room to let the hot air out. Include 2-3 more inches of depth room when planning!
Liquor bottles over four inches wide or twelve inches tall won't easily fit!
The fridge itself is great. It's very quiet, but you can certainly tell when it turns off. The lighting is sleek. As the specs say, don't expect to store 28 pinot bottles, but it can easily do 25.
