How long does it take to bring a bottle of red wine to correct temperature?
Bill on Apr 11, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It will depend on what temperature the red wine starts at.
Are we talking about taking a red wine from cellar temperature which is 55 degrees and bringing it up to serving temp which is approx 64 degrees or are we taking a red wine at room temperature and bringing it down to service temp of 64 or storage temp of 55 degrees.
Does this ruin the label on the wine bottle? I make candles out of repurposed wine bottles so I would like to know if it gets the label wet or bubbled at all?
Ronalee H on Jul 17, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I have had no issues with label degradation. There is no humidity to cause cracking, peeling, or discoloration.
Does it work effectively with stelvin cap wine bottle? Thanks
R W on Apr 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Just for use on standard wine bottles.
Does it work with wine bottles that have a cap and not a cork?
Ebenezer B on Nov 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes, but the cap needs to be off when you use the machine. The same is true for a a corked wine bottle. The cork must be out of the bottle!
Does this dispense the wine or do you hv to remove the bottle to pour?
Tonja D on Nov 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi this is a cooler & preserves store an opened bottle which removes the air out of the bottle before sealing for storage. Simply place the bottle in and it goes to work. Then take it out and pour when ready to drink the rest.
does the wineart need to stay on (with the green light) once the vacuum has been created and before the wine next needs to be brought to drinking temperature?
debbie on Dec 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hello,
If i am understanding your question correctly i would say yes.
Feel free to reach our Eurocave technical department @ 1-800-648-6058 option #2 if you have further technical questions.

Thank you.
I was wondering if the Wine Art works with bottles that have screw tops?
La Tosha P on Oct 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it does. It appears there is an overlap that causes the seal.
I just received this and have a question. I
read in the user manual that it is supposed to emit a sound to let you know it is functioning properly, but mine does not emit any sounds. Is it defective?
karen w on Oct 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Once plugged in, bring down the metal hood, and press the selection button for white or red (it controls the storage temperature) there should be a hum coming from the machine as it creates a vacuum and starts the cooling process, once the vacuum is created, the pump stops. It WILL cycle, and cycle more frequently if there is not an adequate seal. I found that it is necessary to cut the foil BELOW the lip on the bottle to get an adequate seal.
Does this item ship in a box that identifies it? I'm buying for a gift and don't want my husband to see what's in the box before I wrap it.
Willis on Dec 12, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The box does; not sure how outside shipping box looks. I got it for my husband last year and we love it!!!!!!!
What about if after 5 days or so, it looses the vacuum and needs re-vacuum. Does it do that or you need to press the button again?
Christos C on Nov 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Right. The vacuum function kicks in automatically as needed. From here the frequency appears to be inversely proportional to the amount of wine left in the bottle. No biggie.
How quickly will it cool a bottle from room termperature?
Doug B on Aug 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It'll cool a bottle in about 20 minutes. Incidentally, I got this for my husband last Christmas and he's still singing its praises and recommending to all our wine-loving friends that they get one. too!
How tall a bottle can it hold?
Shelly on Sep 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: From my experience the tallest is a 750 ml bottle that is somewhere between 12.5 and 13 inches tall. No sparklers. Some times if the bottle neck has a unusual lip at the top it might not make a good closure. However those are rare situations.
I have own two of these Eurocave units, the last one I bought 4 years ago and have loved having it while it worked. Both units stopped working properly after about 2 1/2 years. I miss having it and would like to get another one. This one seems updated and was wondering if anyone has owned these units for 3 years or more and are they still working well?
Christine P on Jun 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: We are selling the most updated model and should give you years of satisfaction. Extended warranty is available.
Can you change the temperature of the white wine? I like my wine to be very very cold & the temperature it is set at is not cold enough for me.
Sinead H on Feb 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Not that I know of, the unit has either a red or white wine setting both of which are preset.
Will the EuroCave work with various size and shape bottles? What are the bottle height requirements?
Jim on Jan 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thanks you for your question, the Wine Art will accommodate most bottles on the market up to 13" tall, excluding Champagnes & Magnums.
When do you know the bottle has reached the right temperature?
Carlos on Jul 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You don't really know but a few hours should do it depending on how hot the environment is.
My EuroCave Wine Art has stopped cooling on one side. I am sure it must be out of warranty as I was given it a couple of years ago - how do I get it repaired?
Jeff on May 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Please contact or technical department at 800 648 6058 and hit option 2 and they will be more than happy to assist.
I have one of the older models which was not called Wine Art. One side is no longer working. As I recall, we used to be able to send them in to be refurbished so I am wondering if this is possible.

We are long time customers who have purchased two the large wine coolers from you as well as this older EuroCav.

Thanks for your help
Nancy on Apr 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question Nancy, and for being such loyal long time EuroCave customers! The previous unit (SoWine) is actually no longer available as EuroCave has moved to this improved unit. But if you can call us at 800-356-8466 I am sure we can figure out some sort of solution for you. Thanks

Will the EuroCave Wine Art system work for Champagne?
Tamra on Jan 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This is not made for Champagne. If you do not finish a bottle of champagne please see the champagne stopper and put it in the refrigerator. Thats works , enjoy !
Keep sparkling wines bubbly for a champagne toast today, a Bellini tomorrow and a Mimosa with Sunday brunch. To savor the celebration, just place over the opened bottle, close the latches and push to seal in the bubbles for days. A must for preserving all sparkling wines and waters.Item # 484 16 01
this products work at 220 v/50 ?

thanks
Diego on Dec 28, 2014
BEST ANSWER: No this is made with a standard plug for U.S. voltage.
Just received this for Christmas. The wine art periodically sounds like it's sucking the air out of the bottle throughout the day. Is this normal?
MEL on Dec 26, 2014
BEST ANSWER: If you are hearing the vaccuum sound, please check the seal to ensure that the bottle is fitted corrected. Also refer to the owner's manual as the unit may be evacuating pressure periodically depending on how many days the bottle has been stored.
RE: EuroCave Wine Art... how does the device extract the wine? Is the technology similar to how a Coravin works?
ed on Dec 8, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The Eurocave Wine Art actually is a wine preserver than can save wine up to 7-10 days by extracting air from the bottle and keeping it at service temperature. The Wine Art will not extract wine.

Works well and easy to use
My old model died after about 3 years. This model is good improvement over older model. Better seal around bottles so motor runs less often.
Definitely good preservation. Hope the cooling system does not burn out like my last one.

As advertised
The EuroCave Art allows me to open wines from my collection and preserve their integrity. In the past, no matter what I did, the wine would be exposed to the air and lose some of its taste. This is no longer the case...I love it!

Great For Wine Preservation
Does a great job in temperature control for whites and reds. On first use it takes a few tries to figure out how to get the bottle properly placed for the vacuum to remove air from the bottle. You just have to remember to remove all foil from the bottle stem, otherwise it will cause the vacuum not to seal. I am very pleased with the Wine Art and will order a second one for my vacation home.

First Impressions
Still lots of room in the market for a well engineered feature rich device. Initial use shows poor vacuum sealing with vacuum pump cycling on and off while I reposition bottle fractions of an inch to get seal. Not too impressed.

My husband loved it!
We keep it on the kitchen counter. Always have a fresh bottle at the right temperature. saves running back and forth to other wine storage when we have guests. It's easy to move to the patio, if we want to use it there! I gave this to my husband for Christmas, he loves it!
