Measured where the refrigerator was going and was a perfect fit, except I didn't think to measure the door it has to go through 24" Wont fit so my question is Can the refrigerator be kept in the garage? I live in Florida so it can get warm during the Summer
Kevin S on Dec 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, Eurocaves can be placed in a warm garage. I would recommend a Solid Door as this door will have higher insulation value.
Does the temperature reset following a power outage?
Stacey B on Nov 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Apparently so. We have a generator,so our power outages are short-lived. The Eurocave has remained as set during momentary power blips. Sharon C Atlanta
Can someone confirm the 74 bottle storage capacity? Seems a little small for that reported capacity.
John T on Sep 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: You can achieve the 74 bottle capacity, but depending on the wine variety and bottle shape, you most likely will end up with a couple of rolling shelves that have 10 bottles instead of 12 and will need to stack the remaining bottles creatively on the bottom, without the benefit of the shelves. If you want to sacrifice all of the rolling shelves you could load close to 90 bottles in the cellar. Just depends what your primary use will be. We like the rolling shelf configuration and can load 65 bottles easily and 70 most of the time with full shelf utility.
does this unit have humidity control?? or just self regulating humidity??
Andres B on Dec 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Self regulating humidity. The interior skin of the unit is designed to allow good humidity regulation. Although we have not had the unit that long, the humidity conditions have been excellent.
What are the external dimensions of this Unit ?
Lall S on May 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: 38 in. high, 27 in. wide, 28.5 in. deep (distance from back wall to front of door with the stop installed). This provides the required 2 3/4 in (7 cm) for the unit's cooling system to operate efficiently.
Ideal temp if mixing red and white? Where should each be placed? First time not using refrigerator!
Cheryl F on Oct 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Ideal temperature for storage of red and white wine is 55 degrees.
How far from the back wall can this cooler be placed, or can it be placed right against the back wall?
tony h on Sep 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: A bracket to be installed on the unit keeps the back of the cabinet 7cm from any wall. This is to help prevent damaging the coils on the back. So the total depth required is about 28 1/2 inches. About an inch more than the specified depth.
Why does the unit need a dedicated 15 AMP circuit? What happens or could happen if you don't install the unit on a dedicated line?
Pat S on Sep 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You want the unit on a 15 amp dedicated line so you have enough power to run the unit. If you put other items on the same circuit you can trip a fuse.
will the door open if its against the wall ?
robert r on May 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Doors close to a zero clearance hinge but I would leave up to a 1/2" on the hinge side to be on the safe side.

Great Wine Cooler
Very nice, solidly built wine cooler. Quiet with no noticeable vibration. Would be nice to have a switched internal light system, but the handheld light with door mount works fine. Storage space at bottom is really nice, especially for larger bottles. Just be aware that it is not designed for under counter use, so it does have it's heat dissipation grid at the back of the unit, and it does need some space around it for proper ventilation.

Works as advertised
Had a great experience with sales, both via chat and in person. The unit arrived in perfect condition, with all the shelves in place. Waited two days before plugging in. Embarrassed to admit it, but confused the "on" switch for the "set" switch, and couldn't get the power to turn on. Once resolved, it cooled down from 80F to 55F in less than three hours, and has held the temperature perfectly. Quite, no vibration, great build quality, and really appreciate having the five rolling Main du Sommelier shelves included.

Eurocave Premiere S review
There are only a few simple things you need to consider prior to getting this Wine Cellar up and running. After letting it sit for 48 hours I positioned it, plugged it in and turned it on.

The temp was previously set by the factory which varies from around 52º F to 55º F. It runs extremely quiet - you cannot even hear that its on.

I am extremely satisfied with this Eurocave product and would recommend it to anyone wanting to store around a maximum of 70 bottles of wine at full capacity. Great Product!

As advertised
The Premier S Wine Cellar, is great - exactly as advertised. Easy to use, quiet and a sleek look. With the app it's also super easy to manage and keep track of all the wines. Great product.

Good Product
I just received my unit yesterday. It arrived as expected. Everything is in good working order. I have to wait one more day and then I can turn it on. I am surprised about how much wine it will hold. I replaced another unit that was made in Europe. This unit looks as good or better.

shelves get stuck when holding wine
This unit is as quiet as advertised. The shelves slide nicely when empty, but when I placed wine on them for storage, the shelves get stuck and a part in the center bends down, touching bottles on shelf below and displacing the shelf. I followed the recommendations for adding wine to the shelves and tried many times, even removing tracks and reinstalling in case delivery had caused imbalance. No, the shelves still don't slide out when holding wine without getting stuck and derailing.

Response from Wine Enthusiast
Thanks for the comment here... as this may happen with the shelves depending on how filled the unit is. There is a simple adjustment that can be made to extend the runners so the shelves slide out with ease. If you watch the video on this shelf page at about 3:00 minutes in it goes over how to make that adjustment with just a few turns of the screws.
