I'm wondering how well the cellar with item # 23528013x would do in the event of a power outage...and for how long? Any idea of the R-rating of this unit etc.?

Note that frames of the doors extend slightly past the outside shell of the fridge, so two fridges cannot be butted tightly against each other. In addition, the handles to open the doors are recessed in the outside of the door frames - they require an inch or two of clearance so you can open the door, unless you open them from the top which requires reaching up and puts a twisting strain on the door. I would have preferred being able to butt them together and have a handle on the front of the door, but not a big deal. They do have a nice clean look without a handle on the front. Also the little battery operated LED lights work well and look good.
Delivery was pretty good - they set them in place and took away all the packing material. I found that I needed to do the final leveling and adjusting to get them right. One of the shelf brackets was broken on arrival, but Wine Enthusiast was very helpful and quickly sent a replacement.
Overall I'm happy with them - they look good, work great, are very quiet, and make it easy to access the wine.

I have about 100 bottles in this fridge and it seems pretty full to me . You can get about 10 bottles per shelf. Don't get too hung up on the capacity listed on the fridge . Just know that the one you buy much less capacity than stated. I don't think this is uncommon practice manufacturers.
very quiet but if you're planning on putting it in a room where you will be you will hear it
Very good quality and seems to be built well.
The rollout shelves are nice. I am considering buying the extra shelves as I do not buy too much bulk of any particular wine. This model has bulk storage on the bottom and one fixed shelf which doesn't work too well for me. I would rather have the rolling shelves. There is one shelf in the middle but does not pull out well. It is attached to some type of support that is not to be removed.as a result need to lift up in order to get the shelf out. When loaded with wine the shelf is heavy and hard to lift and get out .
I have it set at 51° and it seems to go between 50 and 53° . Temperature control does not seem that precise but that is fine by me . I do not plan on longer than five or six years and really just need this unit to be able to keep it at a reasonable temperature for decent storage
The unit is nice looking and has good finish but seems larger than I pictured. I have it in a dining room adjacent to my living room and it seems to dominate the room
No issues with this in the people who delivered did a good job
Overall I am very happy with this purchase. You will need to fool around the shelving configuration to meet your needs but that is a fairly easy workaround . I would recommend this model.

I was under impressed with the Premiere L "White Glove Service". Maybe it's a location thing but all I got were movers.
After obeying all instructions ( wait 48 hours & setup on it's own circuit breaker) I filled the unit and set it at 56 degrees. The unit temperature fluctuates as much as 3 degrees plus and minus. I went through all the settings and while now it's better it still fluctuates by a degree and a half.
On the plus side the unit is very, very quiet. It looks great. It seals great . I like the quality of EuroCave and while I'm not overly concerned with the temperature fluctuation I'd like to see it adjusted like my older unit. Everything else works just like expected.

My wines are mainly in Bordeaux style bottle and a lot are taller and as a result the bottles per shelf is is reduced from a potential 12 to 10-11 per shelf. I only have a few Pinot style bottles (which are wider, but not as tall) - I suspect they'd also be 10 per shelf. The fixed shelf storage is both great and has it's own limits. Whereas you can stack a LOT of bottles, removing them can be painstaking. If a bottle is in the back of a shelf and on the bottom of two or three stacked rows, you might have to remove 6-8 bottles to get it out. Two potential solutions: 1) carefully load the fixed shelf with bottles on the bottom you won't remove for a long time, or with bulk storage - like a case purchase. Or 2) replaced the fixed shelf with rolling pull out shelves. This will definitely reduce storage quite a bit - but will also ease access to all bottles. To their credit the sales staff HIGHLY suggested that I NOT order the extra shelves until after I've loaded the refrigertor and used it in its sold configuration. I'm glad they did because even after 3 months I'm not sure if I want to lose some bottle capacity over the added convenience.
This is a very good product. I'm very happy I purchased it. I looked at many of these products and my research paid off. It's whisper quiet, very well made and a great buy. I saw some other brands - esp. The high end ones with big name manufacturers are a little fancier but the costs are much higher in cost per bottle. I don't think they compare for to the Eurocave in value.
