I just bought this unit and it stores only 38 bottles (8 in each of the four shelves=32 + 6 bottles at the bottom). But the specifications mentioned above say up to 54 bordeaux bottles. Can see where i can store an additional 16 bottles unless I remove all four shelves and stack up all 54 bottles from the bottom shelf?
CLAUDIO D on Nov 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You are correct, with all rolling shelves it stores 38 bottles. To get the 54 bottles you need to have all standard bordeaux bottles and you have to stack the bottles. We do sell an adjustable shelf that will allow you to do so.

Dual temp zones not efficient
I bought this product for my kitchen, wanting something that would fit under the counter. This suited the space, but I was skeptical that the size of the fridge would be able to manage the dual temperature zone. Sadly I was right...my white wines and champagnes are never cold enough, as the fridge is trying to maintain the minimum temperature setting it allows for the upper shelves, which means my lower shelves are always about 5 degrees warmer than what I've set them for. This also means the unit is constantly whirring away, loudly, trying to balance out the temps. It looks good, but just isn't very efficient.

its still working after 1 month.
The refrigerator aspires to hold 59 bottles but I'm not sure how you could get that many in there. Most American wine bottles are too large for this quantity to fit. I have upper and lower cooling temp difference for red and white, but the temperature swings seem to be higher than advertised. Other than that, I am happy with the unit and it seems to be efficient..

Great wine cellar.
I have had this wine cellar for 1 month. It produces almost no spies, temperature variance is approx 1 degree and as long as the bottles are standard size the capacity is 50 bottles.
