This is the perfect way to store your wine collection, particularly in an area with temperature extremes (i.e., unheated storage room or garage) since the unit will both cool and heat if necessary. It comes with an adjustable shelf and a display shelf which are useful if you store large quantities of the same wine --- but if you have lots of different wines and want to be able to easily see each bottle, you may want to remove these and get additional rolling shelves. (I have nine rolling shelves.) The shelves are easy to install and remove, and the rolling shelves are very substantial and glide easily. (By the way, the unit comes with labels for the shelves --- this wasn't clear from the description.) It's pricey, but worth it --- my wine has never been happier!

Have owned smaller and cheaper wine refrigerators in the past. Have been wanting to expand our storage capacity and when the last 24 bottle unit cratered seemed like the perfect time to upgrade. We live in a very dry climate so the himidity display and control feature is a huge plus for us. We can now cellar our wine with confidence. Our only complaint is that the instruction manual could be better laid out. The unit was delivered on a Thursday so we set it up on Saturday after the requisite 48 hours. Got the shelves just like we liked them and loaded our wine and then could not get it to turn on. We tried everything and searched the instruction manual countless times, all to no avail. Needless to say we were very unhappy. Called Wine Enthusiast fisrt thing on Monday and they promply told us we had to press the on button for 5 seconds (one thing we had not tried). It worked so crisis averted. I did eventually find that little tidbit in the instruction manual, but it was not in an obvious place.

Perfect for those who don't have a built-in cellar but wish to cellar/age wines. This is my first EuroCave and I'm impressed by the quality and robustness of the design. I feel very comfortable placing my expensive collectible wines in it.

I use this in our home for wine presentation and storage. No problems with the unit so far, and I have owned previous models as well.

Service and delivery comments:

Not such a great experience on the delivery. They plugged it in immediately even though the instructions state to wait 48 hours. There was blinking with the unit and initially we thought something had happened to it.
