will it fit a Houdini decanter ?
eugene on Dec 9, 2015
Sorry, we do not carry the Houdini decanter.
Thank you.
Which of these wine stoppers will fit the Vivid decanter? Most say this and the other round glass ball are too small & they go into the neck of the decanter and are hard to remove.

BEST ANSWER: The Etched Globe Decanter Stopper is 2 1/2 inches in diameter, the Wood Decanter Stopper is 2 3/4 inches in diameter and is a better fit for the Vivid Decanter.

A nice piece of art!
This is a very nicely done piece of glass. However, it may be too heavy for decanters with thin glass.
As with all stoppers sometimes it's too difficult to remove from decanter's with long, cone shaped spouts.

Too small for my decanter
I had previously purchased the Vivid decanter and liked the look of this stopper. It turns out this stopper is too small and it rests deep down in the decanter neck, so it is very difficult to grab and remove. I advise you to measure the opening of your decanter before purchasing this stopper. Otherwise, the stopper looks great and I'm disappointed that I had to return it.

Just plain fun.
The stopper works well and it really is fun. My friends make favorable comments and think I'm swave and deboner with good taste.

works as advertised
creates a nice seal on the decanter . We've kept reds (mostly Cabs or Bordeaux) for up to 2 weeks this way.
