The rack is awesome however, and I highly recommend it! We love it!
What you see is not what you get. I received my first Barrel Stave Hanging Stemware Rack, and it was not as described ans was not as pictured. The spacers that hold the planks that hold the glasses to the 2 horizontal supports were not wood blocks but were thin cheep wood dowels. It states "Designed for Stemmed glasses with a 3-1/2" Dia Base." My 3-1/2 Riedel, wine glasses which they sell would not fit it was to tight, it woud fit at best 3-1/8. They had to remake it for me. Now I must say it is visually stunning. They used the blocks of wood, properly spaced the slats. Some, not all, of the slats are a bit wider than I would like now, closer to fitting a 3-3/4+ inch base, but are Okay, it now looks like the photo. I would call them when ordering it . Tell them that you want it to look like the photo, no dowels as spacers and you want it to fit a 3-1/2 Riedel glass, as stated. Now it Holds 2 different wine glasses, Red and White and Champagne Flutes, I am using all Riedel. One thing they neglect to do, that you can do for a few dollars, and a trip to Lowes, or Home Depot. The planks are curved so the glasses want to slide to the center, they should have put a no slip surface on the wood, get some inexpensive foam or rubber 1/8 or 1/4 wide weather stripping that has peal and stick on one side and put it on the side of the wood that the glass bottom sits on and they will not slide into each other. Guests love it, and talk about it all the time. I hope this was helpful! If you have any other questions do not hesitate to ask!
