Bought this as a gift now I want one. Others I found looked and felt too foo foo, this thing is supposed to hold whiskey! I liked the look and when I unpacked it, it felt like it was made out of good solid glass. This will be used to hold whiskey that has been aged longer in a small oak barrel. Rather than pour it back in the original bottle, I thought it would be cool to pour it into one of these.
My delivery was adequate. The packaging was loose and inadequate for shipping glassware. The contents were not what I ordered. I would appreciate at refund on the difference of price on the decanters since I received a different one from what I ordered. I like it so I kept it as it was a pre Christmas gift.
When I received this it was broken....very poor packaging for shipment....a few pieces of brown paper in the box.... No bubble wrap or any cushioning at all....I did not take item out of box because of broken glass.... However.... When I called customer service....your rep was very courteous ...immediately offered a replacement.... I have not received it yet but I am impressed with customer service.... And from what I can see of the decanter it looks to be very nice...I am excited to receive the replacement...I will order from you in the future... I would suggest better packaging for shipment though... This was not secure in the box at all... I do a lot of online ordering and have never seen anything packed like this...especially a glass item..... Thank you for standing behind your product and replacing it.
I ordered this product and it was backordered several weeks. When it arrived it was shattered into shards. Kudos to WineEnthusiast.com for offering a sight-unseen replacement. However, the replacement is also backordered. Must be a popular product!
