A friend brought over a chilled rose on a hot summer night, and I tried to steal her VaciVin. I ordered 8 (2 for me, 2 for stocking stuffers for mom and sister, 4 for little gifts this fall/last minute holiday). I have already given away 3, used 2 for myself, and sliced 1 as an ice pack for an ankle injury (not a recommended use. But in an emergency...just don't cut the ice cells, which anyone should know). I will now order some more as replacements and a few of the champagne bottle size. This is not the most exciting gift to open, but it is really useful, and if you put it on a nice wine, it's even better. A great gift!

Not what I expected
Didn't chill wine as fast as I thought it would. Would be good for keeping wine cool that had been already chilled in your wine cooler if you were travelling short distances or outside.

Having been in hospitality industry for 27 + years and being a bit analytical, I found this cooling sleve to be a perfect tool and an excellent gift. Also used for first aid on one fateful evening. But in reality, the chiller fits snuggly around the bottles and chills immediately. Also has good temperature holding time. Even while having a dinner on a hot summer evening and refilling the glasses at a casual pace. It is much more attractive than the marble coolers that I had for years and takes up much less space in the freezer. I believe it is a great purchase for those who value their wine.

The picture leads you to believe that the product is an insulated metal container. Instead, it is a cheap, plastic, gel-filled, set of linked pouches. It is too small to use with most bottles plus it does not "chill" wine, but rather it sticks to the bottle making it bulky and hard to handle. [...]

This is an inexpensive way to keep a bottle of wine chilled. I gave several as a gift to friends who love to sit on the porch in the summer. I now want one for myself. It works great!!!

It is not as sturdy a product as you would expect but it actually works very well. You can keep it in your freezer at all times so it is always ready. It takes up very little space when folded flat. The only negative is that it is difficult to grasp the wine bottle with it on, so you must remove the bottle each time you pour it.

This product is fantastic. I ordered TWO of each color one for reds and one for whites. I use one of each for the first two hours of the party and replace them half way through with the fresh ones to make sure the wine stays cool. Get TWO of each for sure.
I only wish they made these for the 1.75 liter wine bottles too. They are only for 750 ml size now.

Very nice to use and attractive design. Buy two for each color wine so that you have one on ice and one in use and wine is always cold for the entire duration of the party.
