Can this wine refrigerator be stored in the garage? Temperature variation proximately 50° – 85° could be more or less on each hand of the spectrum.

BEST ANSWER: This unit has worked exceptionally well for me. I have had it located in my condo in the laundry room which had temperature variations of warmer than normal and now in the basement of my house which is unfished and would very similar to a garage. In both cases the unit has performed up to my expectations.

Classy single zone wine refrigerator!
I purchased this wine refrigerator to store some of my red wines. So far I am very happy with it! I chose the metal shelves; a good choice! I like the interior lighting, and the ability to adjust the temperature or turn the light on without opening the door. The temperature remains constant, which is important. It runs really quietly as well! The only negative comment I might say is the lock is located at the bottom of the door. Why not put it on top?

Less space than expected.
This is a very attractive cellar and fits easily into your home. However, there are 12 wooden racks/shelves which hold 5 bottles at the most on each. 12 x 5 is 60. Also, the bottles rest behind the wooden shelf edge and its not suitable for tags on the bottles. Features a light and does a nice job of cooling.

Doesn't Hold Steady Temp
I replaced the original cooler with an identical one. Wine Enthusiast was helpful scheduling the replacement but the second unit is doing the same thing. I have the temp set at a constant 61 degrees but the temp readings fluctuate from 66 to 60 and sometimes the compressor will not kick on.
I wish I went with another brand.

Nice machine
Replaced a unit that came with the house we bought a few years ago. Nice looking, quiet and hold temperature steadily. The light is nice as well. With all the racks in, sheâ??ll hold 55 bordeaux sized bottles. With wines in larger bottles Iâ??d guess fewer than 50 would fit unless some of the lower racks were removed. (I actually did that so I can store an open bottle or two.) This is a compressor model. We tried the â??quietâ?? technology unit but that type struggles in Floridaâ??s climate - even indoors.

Not pleased
Concerned about the variation of inside temperature in different areas and overal....inside temperature not reflected by readout. Also, Can't hold 80 bottles....perhaps 60 at best

Too shallow!!!
I collect Brunellos. The bottles are long with a long neck. You are supposed to shelve them like sardines, front to back, to fit 80. It can't be done, so the capacity for me is only 40 :..(

Make sure you check the length of you bottles before you by. WE can do their customers a service by stating what types of wine bottles will NOT fit.
