I had a small space to fit so I compared several similar sized wine coolers and ended up with this one for style, size, and best overall reviews (few negative reviews).

Do champagne bottles fit in this refrigerator? If so, how many. Also, does this have a lock.
Many thanks!
Beth on Jul 7, 2014
BEST ANSWER: There is no lock and you could fit a couple of champagne bottles at the very bottom of the unit or
You can take out a shelf and fit more.
Can the shelves be removed to fit a magnum bottle of wine? Thanks.
Will on Sep 29, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Yes, the shelves in this unit are adjustable.
I'm looking for a unit that I can place a desktop color machine in. The color unit works more efficient in a cooler environment. In your professional opinion will condensation be an issue? I don't personally feel it will due to the fact that the unit temperature would be kept around 65°.
N/A on Jun 27, 2013
BEST ANSWER: As long as you don't keep paper in the machine condensation should not be an issue.
How much ventilation does this appliance require? Could I place it into a closet that's only about 20" deep?
Thanks!
Pam on Apr 24, 2013
BEST ANSWER: According to the manual to this device no closed cabinetry is recommended. This is designed to be a free standing open unit. Any other environment may put the unit at risk of not functioning properly. Closets of that size may qualify as closed cabinetry so you may be in danger of causing harm to the unit.
Can this unit be installed under the counter?
Cyndie on Apr 14, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your inquiry. As this unit is a rear venting compressor, it can be built in if there is at least 3-4 inches behind and 2-3 inches on the top. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to us directly at 800 356 8466. Thank you
How much does the 34 bottle evolution wine fridge weigh?
JoAnn on Apr 13, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. The 34 bottle evolution weighs approximately 53lbs. If you have any further questions please call us at 1-800-356-8466.
I want to install this unit under a counter. The open dimensions are 26 1/2 Wide by 22 1/2 Deep and 35 1/2 High. Based on some of your earlier answers it appears that I will be OK.

I also have the option of drilling holes (1" to 2" in dia) in one side wall. This side wall opens to a utility cabinet that has a sink overhead. How much will this help?

Would appreciate your thoughts and/or comments.

Stan

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your inquiry. As this unit is rear venting, building this in is not the best application. Best tip I can give is to give yourself at least 2-3" of clearance on all sides. Any further questions, feel free to reach out to us at 800 356 8466.

You are not purchasing what you think
This free standing wine fridge looks nice, could of been excellent fridge. Where do I start. Like the basket on the bottom of the fridge.

First it does not fit 34 bottles of wine, at least not standard 750 ML Napa
Cabernet. It is suppose to fit 5 bottles per rack it fits only 4 bottles per rack.
The fridge fits 28 bottles and very tight between the rack. Someone needs to buy
a new ruler:-)...I called the wine fridge expert at Wine Enthusist, he informed
me that the fridge sizing of 34 bottles is based on Bordeaux wine bottle sizes
which tend to be slimmer in size. I was told if I wanted to return I may have to
absorb shipping charges and 20% restocking fee, maybe the sales team will work with me.
Temperature control is interesting set it at 58 degrees it goes up to 60 degrees
cooling kicks in takes the temperature down to 56 degrees it goes through this cycle every 39 minutes. I have other wine fridges that keep a steady wine tempeture so the behavior of this system is a bit different for me..bottom line I did not want to deal with the hassle so I kept it...

Good choice for budget storage
Finally sprung for a small cooler. Overall, sort of happy. Great delivery service - as long as you have a hand-cart to bring it in the house/room. Unpacking was easy. Read the directions before you plug it in! Some shelves are just too tight in places - even for narrow bottles. Watch out for label scraping. Basket at bottom is great for pinot bottles. Wish it was bigger! Temp seems to fluctuate between 11-13 degrees C. I guess that's okay.

Compact, Inexpensive, With Limitations
This is an excellent product if you are space-limited and cannot install a regular-depth under counter or free standing wine fridge (i.e., NYC apartments). It is quiet and the temperature, while not perfect, stays in a reasonable zone for wine preservation (particularly if you drink the stuff rather than collect it for posterity). But if you are a fan of California wines, expect to have them squeezed between the racks and scrape some labels, as the racks are spaced for Bordeaux bottles only. Stick to French and Italian wines, and you can fill the thing up easily. But if you want some Napa Cabernets, you will have to put fewer of them in, and maybe pull out a shelf or two if you care about label scratches (I don't).

In general the product is very good and completes its function well. My only disappointment was that I could not fill the 5 spaces on the shelves, only 4 bottles fit.

Nice Overall
It is fairly compact and a nice product overall. But an inch or two larger would make a huge difference in the number of bottles you could store. It is a very tight fit and does not store the number of bottles advertised. Temperature drift is about 4 or 5 degrees which is not that bad for the price paid.

Very disappointed
Very disappointed that the unit has no on/off switch. Very tight wall/cabinet location requires me to turn-off house circuit breaker to turn-off the unit !! Unacceptable ... would NOT buy this product again, nor a Wine Enthusiastic product again. Should request a refund !!!
