Comments about 34-Bottle Evolution Series Wine Refrigerator:

This free standing wine fridge looks nice, could of been excellent fridge. Where do I start. Like the basket on the bottom of the fridge.

First it does not fit 34 bottles of wine, at least not standard 750 ML Napa
Cabernet. It is suppose to fit 5 bottles per rack it fits only 4 bottles per rack.
The fridge fits 28 bottles and very tight between the rack. Someone needs to buy
a new ruler:-)...I called the wine fridge expert at Wine Enthusist, he informed
me that the fridge sizing of 34 bottles is based on Bordeaux wine bottle sizes
which tend to be slimmer in size. I was told if I wanted to return I may have to
absorb shipping charges and 20% restocking fee, maybe the sales team will work with me.
Temperature control is interesting set it at 58 degrees it goes up to 60 degrees
cooling kicks in takes the temperature down to 56 degrees it goes through this cycle every 39 minutes. I have other wine fridges that keep a steady wine tempeture so the behavior of this system is a bit different for me..bottom line I did not want to deal with the hassle so I kept it...

Comments about 34-Bottle Evolution Series Wine Refrigerator:

Finally sprung for a small cooler. Overall, sort of happy. Great delivery service - as long as you have a hand-cart to bring it in the house/room. Unpacking was easy. Read the directions before you plug it in! Some shelves are just too tight in places - even for narrow bottles. Watch out for label scraping. Basket at bottom is great for pinot bottles. Wish it was bigger! Temp seems to fluctuate between 11-13 degrees C. I guess that's okay.

    Compact, Inexpensive, With Limitations

Comments about 34-Bottle Evolution Series Wine Refrigerator:

This is an excellent product if you are space-limited and cannot install a regular-depth under counter or free standing wine fridge (i.e., NYC apartments). It is quiet and the temperature, while not perfect, stays in a reasonable zone for wine preservation (particularly if you drink the stuff rather than collect it for posterity). But if you are a fan of California wines, expect to have them squeezed between the racks and scrape some labels, as the racks are spaced for Bordeaux bottles only. Stick to French and Italian wines, and you can fill the thing up easily. But if you want some Napa Cabernets, you will have to put fewer of them in, and maybe pull out a shelf or two if you care about label scratches (I don't).

In general the product is very good and completes its function well. My only disappointment was that I could not fill the 5 spaces on the shelves, only 4 bottles fit.

Very disappointed that the unit has no on/off switch. Very tight wall/cabinet location requires me to turn-off house circuit breaker to turn-off the unit !! Unacceptable ... would NOT buy this product again, nor a Wine Enthusiastic product again. Should request a refund !!!

Comments about 34-Bottle Evolution Series Wine Refrigerator:

It is fairly compact and a nice product overall. But an inch or two larger would make a huge difference in the number of bottles you could store. It is a very tight fit and does not store the number of bottles advertised. Temperature drift is about 4 or 5 degrees which is not that bad for the price paid.
