How noisy is this unit?
Bonzo on Dec 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This suit is pretty quiet. The problem is the suit does not display the temperature chosen. And, support for the unit absolutely sucks. I've emailed them about it several times just after buying the unit and no reply.
How many Burgundy bottles does it hold?

Is humidity level an issue when storing wine in a dry climate?
judy w on Oct 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: If one is planning on enjoying the wine within a year or two, just keep the bottle on its side so the wine is touching the cork. If you plan on storing for more than that, you'd want to try to keep the humidity above 50%

Can this unit be used under a counter or in a cabinet?
CARL on Mar 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The 29 bottle is rear venting so we recommend a free standing application. If you decide to place under a counter, please leave as much clearance as you can for ventilation.
Does the term flexible shelving mean you have to remove the shelf to place larger bottles in it or can you actually adjust the level of each shelf? Also is this newer generation of "29-Bottle Evolution Series Dual Zone Wine Refrigerator" quieter than the "Wine Enthusiast Silent 32 Bottle Dual Zone Touchscreen"?
Debby on Dec 30, 2014
BEST ANSWER: You will have to remove shelving to fit larger bottles. The 32 bottle is part of our silent line where the Evolution line incorporates a compressor. Compressor units are going to have a higher decibel rating due to that.
How do I set the temperature? It seems to be lowering itself. . .
Sarah on Dec 26, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Please call tech support at Wine Enthusiast and they will talk you through it.

Upper Zone Temperature is limited by Lower Zone
It advertises that the Upper and Lower zones each have a 40-65 temp range. Since I wanted to store Reds on the top, I even called and made sure that I could set the Top warmer than the bottom (since most other units I had looked at were the opposite) and was assured that I could. However, that is not true. The top can only be set to a temperature equal or lower than the bottom. If you set it higher and then lower the bottom, it also lowers the top.

I've resigned myself to using it just for Whites now and for that purpose its fine

Great Wine Refrigerator
It was easy to order with a little phone help. It arrived on time and setup was a ten minute process. It cools the wine with no issues. Very pleased.

Exactly what I wanted
Right out of box this worked as wanted. Doesn't exactly hold 29 bottles due to different types of bottles used now. Wanted to store a few bottles of JR and by using bottom tray was able, Temp has been great and love the light option for late in evening to see what is what. Very quiet and easy on the eyes.

Love it so far!
Just got this wine cellar and it is both beautiful and functional exactly as described. I thought the price was excellent, too, the same as I paid for a much smaller 18-bottle cellar that died within 2 years. I have only had it for two days, so I can't say much more, but the blue light is particularly cool.

Perfect Size
I had a much larger wine cooler, but after my husband died I it was difficult to keep it full (my husband had always said it is cheaper to run electrically if full) I decided a smaller wine refrigerator would be better for me. This one is great, has dual zone with easy to read temperature gauges. Keeps the wine perfectly, has a light when needed. Shelves pull out easily to choose just the right wine. I love it. You will too if you choose it.

Good for the price, but has issues
The design of this model is great and the size is perfect for me. However, the temp controls only work so so. The dual temp zones have to be warmer on the bottom zone and colder on top. This works for me because I prefer reds, and the space for reds (the bottom zone) is much larger. Also, since warm air rises, the bottom section struggles to stay the temp you set it (I set it at 60 and it stays at 58). Again, this works for me because I prefer my reds on the colder side.

Wine Enthusiast Integrity
I ordered this cellar and when it arrived as someone wrote in their review it sounded like a lawn mower at a distance. It would come on with a loud buzz run less than 30 seconds and go off. Then within 5 or 10 minutes come on again. I called a technician at the home office and he felt like it was not working properly and immediately sent me another unit which worked perfectly and was very quite. It is hard to get more than 8 degrees between the compartments but otherwise is a very nice and good looking unit. Because of the low price I was not expecting a Mercedes and am very satisfied with the unit in relation to the price and the integrity of Wine Enthusiast.

Noisy and not working properly
If you like the sound of a lawn mower in the distance, then this is the wine refrigerator for you.
It is noisy and may not even be working properly, perhaps I will hear from someone who is willing to take back this brand new item.

Good Value
I am very happy with my wine refrigerator. I did have to call customer service for some help getting the temperatures set correctly as the guide was a little confusing. Customer service walked me thru the setup and were very helpful. Thanks for the help!

Good for the Price - Beware of Dual Temperature Option
PROS- Competitive price, good quality, low noise level, great service and delivery.

CONS - The dual temperature only allows for lower temperature on the top, so the champagne tray at the bottom will have the higher temperature, which is not ideal.
Can't have more than 10 degrees difference between zones, and refrigerator is jumping back and forth between 8-10 degrees difference. If I would have know this in advance I would have selected a different unit.
