are they sturdy enough to stack 3 or 4 high?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, the Compact Cellar Cube Wine Rack comes in walnut (Item # 640 24 05 ).
My question is also about stacking. It says in the description: "Compact cube shape is great for small spaces because you can stack them high or side by side to get maximum storage. " Is this not in fact accurate? i am interested in stacking these 5 high, but I would need to be sure they can be stacked, and also that they have hardware attach to one another vertically and horizontally.

BEST ANSWER: You can stack them. They do not come with hardware to attach them vertically or horizontally.
If you want that kind of stability you can get that kind of hardware at a hardware store.

Perfect storage option
I needed a way to conveniently store multiple bottles of wine. This is one of few that come in a nice, mahogany finish. I ordered two and my 12 year old daughter and I put them together with the tools included in about 10 minutes. I am ordering another to provide more storage. I also like that I can store horizontally if needed.
It was delivered in the time promised.

Perfect fit
We wanted to repurpose a space under a built in desk in the kitchen. The cube fits perfectly and saves me steps when I want a bottle of red wine. It also gives us a climate controlled storage for white wine we haven't chilled as yet.

I am using the cube to repurpose a space under a built on desk that now holds a television. Works perfectly and is very stylish. Saves steps from where wine was previously stored. Am very pleased with the product and highly recommend it.
